My three years of experience in writing and editing led to the creation of a personal blog where I write about happenings in Africa. The Facebook page of my blog has about 46,000 followers in two years of its existence with my posts reaching over 1 million people in that timeframe.
I also write on Quora about issues pertaining to Africa. I have been recognized on Quora as a “Most Viewed Writer in Accra, Ghana” and a “Most Viewed Writer in the topic African Countries!”
For the past two years, I have channelled this passion for writing and editing into developing content for real estate companies in Ghana. I worked as a Customer Marketing and Public Relations Officer for one of the real estate companies and was recognized by the Ghana Real Estate Developers’ Association (GREDA) for my hard work and contribution to Ghana’s real estate industry as a result of the quality real estate content I published on the company’s blog. They contacted me for an interview and an opportunity to be featured in their real estate magazine for December 2018.
My experience and skills in content writing, editing and proofreading led me to take up a volunteer but remote role as a Content and Diplomatic Communiqué Writer with the Office of the African Union Youth Envoy. I wrote and edited press releases and reports, as well as developed diplomatic communiqué for the African Union Youth Envoy.
Currently, I have taken up a volunteer role as the Director of Communications for the African Youth Union Commission in Ghana. As the Director of Communications, I provide advice and support for the organization, lead advocacy and campaigns, as well as build communication partnerships and media alliances with relevant stakeholders.
I am currently looking for a remote paying job in the field of Communications, Content Writing and Public Relations.
